Meet The Team

Luke Spittles

Originally from Dubbo, NSW, Luke travelled extensively working in the harvesting industry until he met partner Beck, where they decided to settle in Thallon, QLD. It was here Luke commenced employment at a local farm and an interest in water management and irrigation was discovered.

Agriculture has been the driving force throughout Luke's professional life, where he has amassed a wealth of experience across diverse sectors, including feedlots, broadacre farming, and vegetable cultivation. Luke managed at a large-scale Lockyer Valley vegetable farm for 13 years. During this time, Luke played a pivotal role in the installation and maintenance of the farm's underground irrigation and pumping systems, demonstrating his proficiency in water and farming infrastructure management. Additionally, Luke's diverse background encompasses employment as an installer for a reputable irrigation company based in the Lockyer Valley, further solidifying his comprehensive understanding of irrigation systems and their implementation.

Beck Spittles

Beck's journey in the agricultural industry began in her home state of Tasmania, but her roots quickly took hold in the fertile lands of St George, Queensland. It was here their paths crossed, sparking a shared passion for farming that would shape their lives.

Today, Beck and Luke, along with their two sons, call the Lockyer Valley region their home and place of work. Whilst in the Lockyer Valley, Beck gained valuable experience working in accounts for a local vegetable farm providing her with financial expertise that she seamlessly integrates into their business operations. As Target Irrigation continues to grow, it became a natural progression for Beck to transition into a full-time role within the company.
